Welch's Insurance Agency has received three "Iowa Agency of the Year" awards given by Pekin Insurance Company, in 1988, 1998 and 2002. This is awarded to the agency that demonstrated their outstanding professional performance in servicing the insurance needs of their policyholders, their community and the Company.

Owner/Agent
Bio:
Butch started his insurance career as a direct-writer agent in 1970 and established Welch’s Insurance Agency in 1979. He remains an active agent in all lines—Life, Health, Auto, Home, Farm and Commercial Insurance.
In 2007 Butch received his 27th "Key Award" from Pekin Life Insurance which honors those agents who display superiority in Life & Health sales. Butch is also a lifetime member of the "Inner Circle Club" of Pekin Life Insurance, this is the highest honor to be received by a select group of life agents for outstanding achievement in Life Insurance.

Welch, CISR
Owner/Client Service Manager
Bio:
Lori serves as Client Service Manager to the agency and has been an agent since 1982. She is licensed for Personal Lines, Life/Health and Commercial Lines. She supervises office operations, computer automation & training as well as quoting and writing insurance in the Agency office. She manages our newest service-"Camcording" of clients' homes. In 1994 Lori received her CISR diploma after completion of a 3-year course. This designates her as a Certified Insurance Service Representative.
Client Service Agent
Bio:
Stacey joined the agency in December of 1992 and received her license in April 1993. Her responsibility as an agent includes marketing of new clients with quotes for Personal and Commercial Insurance. She also manages the Commercial and Farm renewals, and changes. She works with the commercial and farm clients on claims, policy changes and new policies, and holds a Personal and Commercial Lines license.
Client Service Agent
Bio:
Linda started with our agency in April of 2004 after earning her Network Specialist Certificate at SEC. Her expertise is very valuable in maintaining our agency’s computers system and “paperless” environment.
To further her education she completed her Personal Lines License in December 2004 and her Life Insurance License in 2007 making her our 4th licensed agent. We require licenses for all staff members to give our clients the best service possible. Linda processes policy changes and payments, claims and does proposals with Butch, Lori and Stacey for new and existing clients.
